Originally hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan I’ve played music in one form or another since the age of 15. Great songwriters like James Taylor, John Prine, Stephen Stills, Randy Neuman, etc. have always been my inspiration.
After moving to Austin in 1980 and playing drums with numerous bands for years I returned to my first love, acoustic guitar, singing and songwriting.
My music is a blend of original compositions with select material from the greatest classic and contemporary singer / songwriters of our time including many local favorites like Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen,etc.
I’ve had the privilege of opening shows at Austin's legendary One World Theater for Jimmy Webb,The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ricky Skaggs, Loudon Wainright III, Dave Mason, Bruce Cockburn, Michael Martin Murphy & Jonathan Edwards.

One World Theater, Iron Cactus North, NXNW Brewery, The French Quarter, Gumbos, Reds Porch, Hill's Cafe, Freddie's Place, Jovita's, The Boathouse Grill, The Chisos Grill, Whole Foods Market, The Iguana Grill, Cypress Creek Cafe, Table 620, Cafe Mueller, Freda's Seafood, Azul Tequila and Blue Corn Harvest.
